Vintage 1972 Allied Brass Division Of S&F Snail Memo Photo Holder. This is an unusual and vintage memo/business card holder. When you push on the snails head a spring brings his back up and you can slide something underneath him, let the spring go and it will hold tight. You can see that I did that with a business card in one of my pictures. This is a brass item and it’s natural patina. I did not want to polish it in case the person who purchases it prefers this look. Personally if I were to keep this item I would polish it to a high shine. I found it at an estate sale. I have seen very few items like this, I think they’re pretty rare. Shipped from a non-smoking home. It is approximately 8 inches tall and 4 inches wide at the base.
