Victorian Gloved Hand Spring Clips Brass Metal Park Sherman Wall Desk Accent 60s

Up for auction/sale is a vintage pair of Victorian Hand spring clips, which can sit on your desk or in a display cabinets as an accent, or be mounted to a wall or any flat surface as a functional piece. One was made by Park Sherman, of Springfield IL, but the smaller brass piece is unmarked.
I can't date these specifically, but per the article below, Park Sherman went out of business in 1960, and I suspect the brass piece is similarly circa 1960.
The Park Sherman piece has a brass/bronze tone, but has some mild wear to the gold tone coating, while the other is solid brass. Both pieces are fully functional and other than some mild signs of age and wear, both are in great condition. The larger piece measures 5 1/4" long and is 2" wide. The smaller piece is 3 7/8" long and 1 5/8" wide.
I have described these hand clips as best I can, but to augment my description I have provided several high-resolution images of the hands from varying angles to allow for a detailed review of quality, condition, and desirability.
