This beast here is a Tym Big Mud Sustainar, his clone of a 70s Elk Super Fuzz Sustainar.
Essentially it is a ‘72 triangle big muff with a change in the tone stack that retains treble even when you dial the tone to the bass side. Even a bit of a volume boost when you dial down that way. Unique sound among the Muff variants, monstrous sound!
This version of the muff was popularized by the legendary Wata, guitarist of Boris!
