Back in the days when the BOSS brand didn't exist, Roland was producing some amazing FUZZ pedals. One of those pedals was the AD-50 Double Beat, a combination of super intense FUZZ and a unique Wah pedal.
The Wah and FUZZ circuits are independent of each other, so you can use the Wah or FUZZ pedal each conveniently.
Three types of fuzz sounds
(1) FUZZ with emphasis on the low frequency range and deep compression, (2) FUZZ with emphasis on the mid-range, (3) FUZZ with a rough, high-pitched sound, whichever you choose you can get the FUZZ with a very dynamic and loud sound,
The wah sounds has a different flavor from Crybaby and VOX, from a peaky, piercing sound to a deep compressed and tone turned downed sound. (The volume drops a little when the Wah is turned on, but that's the original specification.)
The combination of the two will take you into a world of psychedelic and dope.In other words, it's great.
I think it's hard to find a unit in such good condition.
