The
Henretta Engineering H-Bomb Fuzz
is a nasty, screaming fuzz that combines elements of the Henretta Engineering Bluebird fuzz and Purple Octopus circuits. The Bluebird provides rich harmonic content while the Purple Octopus provides upper octave harmonics, slightly gated attack, and just enough nuance to make it fun while still being musical. The result is a fuzz that will remind you of the classics but interact with your other pedals like a more modern boutique offering.  The fuzz control adds compressed fuzzy sustain under the more articulate and open sound from the octave circuit.  The volume provides plenty of boost when needed.
The Henretta H-Bomb series of pedals feature twisted takes and useful combinations of the stock circuits found in the Henretta Engineering line of small no-knob set-and-forget pedals. Sporting a design that stays true to the simple utilitarian ideals that define the Henretta brand, the H-Bomb pedals come in a more standard pedal enclosure and format with exterior knobs.
About Henretta
Henretta Engineering is the creation of long-time gigging guitar player and tinkerer, Kevin Henretta.  In 2010, armed with a formal background in hard sciences and years of industrial experience as a design engineer, Kevin attempted what seemed like an impossible task at the time and ultimately created the Orange Whip compressor, a hand-made, all-analog compressor circuit housed in the tiny 2” x 2” boxes players had been using for auxiliary tap tempo switches.  This started a line of small no-knob pedals and initiated a set-and-forget utilitarian design philosophy that addresses the worry of complicated pedal board setup, removes the distraction of obsessive on-the-fly adjustments, and refocuses players’ attention onto the instrument - the guitar.  Currently, Henretta Engineering is still developing its line of no-knob pedals while also releasing the occasional “traditional” pedal that still embodies the simplicity and utility for which the brand has become known.
