    Description

For your consideration, a clone of the famous (infamous?) Shin-ei FY-2 Companion fuzz pedal with a couple of very important mods. First, the originals were plagued by low output, less than unity. This clone solves that problem, it's now a very loud pedal. Secondly, the addition of a third knob for tone control and shaping makes it much more versatile than the original. None of the raw buzzsaw fuzz has been sacrificed. It's still like getting your face cut off with a rusty chainsaw. It's still so dirty you'll feel like you need to take a shower after you play it. And no, this does not clean up well with the volume knob on your guitar. If you want it clean, turn it off.
Using the finest parts, this pedal will be passed on to your children. Old school build on stripboard with point to point wiring and true bypass switching. Note: I don't take a new picture of each pedal, graphic will be the same, knobs may vary in color or style.
Sounds great in front of either tube or solid state amps.
