Analog Fox Super Fuzz (Based on Univox Super-Fuzz)

Description

Analog Fox Super Fuzz is based on Univox Super Fuzz, which is a classic fuzz from the late 60s.
We kept the original schematic, but added some features.
We also increased values of electrolytic capacitors, as it seems to be the most efficient way to get the bass response the vintage units tend to have.
Additional features:
1. Bias knob - no longer a trimpot as in original units. It affects how strong the octave is, the amount of noise and sustain.
2. Grit knob - allows to choose betweensmooth and harsh sound.
3. Tone knob - works when mid-scoop mode is on - sets the balance between lows and highs.
4. Volts knob - allows to lower the voltage of the pedal - for darker and softer tone. If lowered much - the fuzz will sound more like a ring modulator. Pedal takes up to 18v, so this knob will help you to experiment with different voltages for this circuit.
5. Loud switch - you can choose between two sets of diodes, one of which is way louder than the other.
6. Tone footswitch - does the same thing as the slider switch on the original - turns on the midscooped tonestack.
