    Description

Here are three letters and one envelope, being communication between Lawrence Welk and Lew DeSimone in 1958. In the first, he thanks DeSimone for getting him a bass for one of his musicians and asks him to find him a celeste musical instrument. It is a letter with Welk’s advertising letterhead and typed in blue script. It has a nice hand written signature. The second is a regular typed letter to Welk continuing the discussion. The third is another blue script typed letter with another Welk autograph. Then there’s an envelope also with the Welk logo. DeSimone was in Philadelphia, and Welk’s address was on Santa Monica Boulevard in Hollywood. The letters are clean. They do have some creases, but no tears. The letters are not yellowed or darkened. There’s some shadows on the photos..
